Dali Wang named IEEE senior member
Dali Wang, a senior research and development staff member in the Terrestrial Systems Modeling Group in the Environmental Sciences Division and the Integrated Ecosystem Sciences in the Climate Change Science Institute, has been elevated to the grade of senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
Senior membership in IEEE is bestowed on less than eight percent of the society’s more than 429,000 members. Senior members have at least 10 years of professional experience in the field and have made significant contributions to their professions.
Dali’s research focuses on large-scale environmental and climate modeling on high-performance computing. He is a joint associate professor of computer science at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and a board member of the International Environmental Modeling and Software Society.
