Maggie R. Davis
Maggie is an R&D associate staff member at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory in the Global Change and Developing Countries Programs &Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability Group in ORNL’s Climate Change Science Institute (CCSI). Her primary research interests lie in the field of forest and agricultural economics and the establishment of a global bioeconomy. Maggie’s research aims to promote widespread adoption of clean, renewable energy; enhance growth in domestic clean-energy industries and promote trade in sustainable bioenergy and bio-products. Currently, she is working on projects sponsored by DOE’s Office of BioEnergy Technologies Office (BETO) and Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) that focus on a) addressing global barriers to growth of the US bio-economy, and b) supply forecasts and analyses of energy crop production strategies.
