Melissa R. Allen is a research scientist in the Urban Dynamics Institute and the Climate Change Science Institute at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Melissa is also the theme lead for the Impacts, Adaptation, and Vulnerability research area in the Climate Change Science Institute. Her work has included global modeling and analysis of atmospheric species transport, statistical and dynamical downscaling of various climate model output, analysis of direct and indirect effects of climate change on electricity demand, and integrated assessment modeling and agent-based modelng for consideration of climate change issues that impact national and civic critical infrastructures.
