Kassie M. Ernst

Kassie joined CCSI in August of 2014 as a graduate student working with Dr. Benjamin Preston. Her research interests center on climate change planning and decision-making; particularly how (and which) stakeholders are involved in the decision-making process, what scales and processes are considered in modeling simulations, and what limits or thresholds exist in adapting to climate change. Kassie has earned undergraduate degrees in Geography and Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a M.S. degree in Geography with a Minor in Environmental Policy and Management from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
