Deeksha Rastogi is a research associate in the Computational Earth Science Group at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Her research is focused on Climate Variability and Change, Climate/Weather Extremes and Regional Climate Modeling. She utilizes a range of earth system modeling tools to investigate hydroclimatic responses at varying temporal and spatial scales. Since joining ORNL, Deeksha has worked on multiple projects including the projects “Development of Frameworks for Robust Regional Climate Modeling” and “A hierarchical regional modeling framework for decadal-scale hydro-climatic predictions and impact assessments”. She contributed in the development of a high-resolution climate simulations data for historical and future climate projection.
Deeksha Rastogi joined Oak Ridge National Laboratory in January 2013. She received her M.S. in Atmospheric Sciences from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, USA and her BS (B.Tech.) in Environmental Engineering from Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, India.
